Coach Dalton Bullard

FOUNDER & HEAD COACH

Hi, my name is Dalton Bullard. I am the Founder and Head coach of The School of Wrestling. I’m a former Division 1 wrestler, a 2x Division 3 All-American, and I have a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. I’ve coached at the youth, high school, and college level.

Private Lessons

Private lessons offer personalized guidance, fostering rapid progress and confidence on the mat. Working 1-on-1 or in a small group setting of 2-4 athletes, our coaches breakdown critical techniques and strategies, with individualized attention.

Individual Lessons

Individual Lessons are 1-on-1 lessons for middle school and high school-aged wrestlers from 106 lbs. and up.

Small Group Lessons

Small Group Lessons are for 2-4 athletes at the same weight who want to train together with individual instruction.

🎥 Take a Look Inside a Private Wrestling Lesson

In this video, I’m working with an athlete to drill critical positions that often decide the outcome of a match. By focusing on these key scenarios, we’re building the skills and confidence needed to excel when it matters most.

Private lessons cover all areas of wrestling—neutral, top, bottom, and transitions—to ensure consistent growth and well-rounded development. With a committed mindset and hard work, improvement becomes inevitable.

Training Sessions

We offer two main training sessions, the Preseason which runs from August to November, and the Postseason which runs from March to July.

Preseason

Our Preseason Training runs from August to November, preparing wrestlers for the upcoming competitive season. In addition to helping our athletes gear up for the season, we will also have athletes looking to compete at national preseason events, such as Preseason Nationals and Super 32.

Postseason

Our Postseason Training spans from March to July, for athletes who want to continue to improve throughout the offseason. For some athletes this is an opportunity to transition to a phase of targeted self-improvement, and for others this is a switch into the national competitive scene.
