Dalton Bullard, the founder and head coach of The School of Wrestling, is a highly accomplished wrestler with extensive experience at the youth, high school, and college levels. A former Division 1 wrestler at the University of Illinois (2006-2009) and the University of Nebraska (2009), Dalton went on to achieve notable success as a Division 3 athlete, earning All-American honors twice (2012, 2013) at 133 pounds and serving as team captain for Elmhurst College’s wrestling team during those years. His college career also included a team National Runner-Up finish in 2013.

Dalton’s wrestling achievements began early as a four-time IHSA State Place Winner (2003-2006) and two-time State Finalist (2005, 2006) in high school. He earned All-American honors at both the NHSCA Junior Nationals in 2005 and the Senior Nationals in 2006, as well as being a four-time IKWF State Place Winner (1999-2002) during his youth.

Dalton’s deep understanding of the sport is reinforced by his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, making him well-equipped to train and mentor wrestlers at all levels.
